For sale: dual wireless controller from warmnsafe.com

Before you get too excited, note that you will still need to plug your heated gear into the bike. :) All this wirelessness buys you, is a remote controller with two dials that you can put in a more convenient spot; you don't have to have it inline on the wire to the bike. I velcroed it to a perch near my left hand.

This unit is meant to drive only gear that you wear - a jacket, gloves, pants. It automatically comes on at 1/3 power when you plug stuff in, so you won't end up with no heat if you lose your portable controller or its batteries go dead. I ran grips on one of the dials, and grips are permanently plugged in. The 1/3 power thing was annoying there. So I pulled it out and went back to the old style wired controller.

The package I'm selling contains the wireless remote control unit, a spare battery for the wireless controller, the piece that you mount in the bike (or stow in your jacket) that the control unit talks wirelessly to, and the end of the harness that plugs into the unit. I did cut the ends that go to the battery off, so the new owner will need to create their own harness, or buy a new replacement: http://www.warmnsafe.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=65_77&products_id=210

$75 or best offer.

You say that it comes on 1/3 power when plugged in, can it be turned completely off with the remote ?

Yes, it can be turned off completely - it just comes on at 1/3 power and stays there until it gets confirmation that the remote is there, by getting any signal from the remote. So after you plug in, if you don't want to go to 1/3 power, dial it up and then turn it off, and it won't run at 1/3 power.

This would be fine for heated gear you wear, because the gear doesn't come on when it's not plugged in. It's less handy for my purpose, which was to put my heated grips on one of the channels - heated grips are always plugged in, and even though I switched them to the ignition, I don't like them to come on automatically every time I start the bike.
