I no longer have the Tenere; traded it in on another motorcycle. I do not know the decibel level but it is louder, and throatier, than stock. There may be some videos on Youtube that can help give you an idea.
It was on the Tenere when I bought it. The bike had right around 5000 miles on it when I purchased it. The owner said it cost him $500 at the time. That's how I know he purchased it and the exhaust had under 5000 miles on it (He bought new from local dealer and purchased the exhaust some time afterwards).
I liked the extra performance, real or perceived, from the Two Brothers, but prefer a quite exhaust. I repacked the exhaust and put the power tip on it to see if I could keep the performance aspect of the exhaust but get sound level closer to stock. I test road it around my home (that how I know it has less than 20 miles on the repacking). It definitely helped, but still wanted to see how it compared to the stock exhaust. I put out an "all call" on the forum for a stock exhaust. Had several replies and bought one. Ultimately, I preferred to quietness of the stock exhaust. I held on to the two brothers exhaust thinking I may put it back on if I ever made the Tenere into a mostly off-road bike (stripped down-no panniers, no extra weight etc.)
Anyway, things change. I traded it in and have begun selling aftermarket parts that were on the Tenere.
