Sold!!!
Used for 1 season, Teknic Defender boots. yes, they look like old man, sport touring boots, coz that was who I was/am! Steel shank/nylon toe. These are not GoreTex but kept me dry for a season. I rode them in damp misty weather, but not a downpour, so I can not comment further than that. From the original site:
-100% waterproof and windproof breathable full boot
-Powerskin Z liner system
-Chemical, diesel and corrosion proof non-slip sole
-Steel sole shank
-3mm molded nylon plate protection over shin and ankle
-Nylon toe shift plate
-Leather bridge stretch panel
-Calf spandex expansion panel
-3/4-zipper closure with hook ‘n’ loop fastening flap cover
Zippers work, velcro works, some leather scuffs from the usual bike usage. They are thick leather, have a very thick rubber sole, and actually were uncomfortable from the stiffness, during break in, but they loosened up to firm and comfortable since. I honestly think they have more than a few seasons left. My foot is wide, I will often take a 11 in most shoes, but these fit me well. Note the dent from the shifter, this is double leather and reinforced area, and they all seem to do this after a couple months, but has not gotten worse since. Shipping is from Canada, and will likely be 25 bucks to COTUS/Canada, so I was asking $50.00 US bucks all in, so someone else can get them muddy.
