I bought this plate just as I contemplated rebuilding my engine. I then decided not to and bought another S10 with a plate I am content with. It is brand new and still have the box and wrapper it came in.

Tempting, my 2013 came with an Altrider plate the previous owner installed but I like the idea of not having to remove the plate for a filter change. This is a good deal, but I have Arrow headers and have been reading the T-Rex doesn't work with Arrow headers on a Gen 1. GLWS.

Ahhh. I removed my arrow headers on my gen 1 to sell with the akro exhaust when I moved to the Gen 2 or else I would test fit. I don't have wheels on it right now, so the engine is supported by a lift, or else I would reinstall and test fit.

I haven’t removed my Altrider plate in years. No need to remove it for an oil change.
What about the filter?
