Hi, Folks.

I have a 100% brand new, never mounted, never used *SILVER* AltRider skidplate for the Super Tenere *FOR SALE*.

When I say "brand new" that's exactly what I mean. All the hardware is still in the plastic bags, mounts wrapped in white foam, etc. Got it as a "just in case" stop-gap for a ride I didn't get to go to anyway, all while I was waiting for my RumBux plate-only set-up as it traveled from South Africa.

IMHO, the AltRider is as good as it gets of the non-frame mounted Super Tenere skid plates, and here you can save yourself some money on a *BRAND NEW* one!

New from AltRider they go for $358.97 plus shipping (http://www.altrider.com/altrider-skid-plate-for-the-yamaha-super-tenere-xt-1200z/pcid/690-2)...

But you can get mine for $300 plus shipping. That's right, folks... Save yourself nearly 20% that go for gas, tires, or more farkles!!!

And don't you worry about me selling it. I've had plenty of contact about it, and actually am awaiting payment from one nice gentleman right now. I always leave the listings up, though, until I have the funds in hand.

Sincerely hope you find you a skid plate, Roy... But I wonder why you'd want one given your disdain for your Super Tenere and Yamaha. Seems you would be happier with a V-Strom since it's a Suzuki.

Really sorry for you now, Roy... As I need to correct my previous post above. The Altrider skid plate is ***SOLD***, and I have the funds in hand!!! Bought and paid for by our own h20rider!!!

That's what you get, Roy, for coming late, late to the party and making a ridiculous low-ball bid.

Oh I'm not worried you sold it. I already have a skid plate but am in constant change. Look I made an offer it was my best you didn't want to take it that's business. But since you continue to want to turn this into something it's not, I'm not playing those games today. My stance against Yamaha still has not changed. I've had two V-storms already, 650 and 1000 and they both had outstanding headlights and wiring. Both were great bikes. Certainly wouldn't rule out one in the future.
