SOLD: Penske 8983 manual preload with 750 lb/in spring. I put little over 1200 miles on the shock, so nearly new.

I weigh 185 without gear and usually ran topcase and tankbag, about perfect for me. Very nice improvement over OE.
Easy to change out springs, just back off on preload collar to change out.

$600 free shipping.

Thanks!

Hard crowd! I lowered the shock and spring to $600, I'll pay shipping in the U.S.

Wow...this is a STEAL. Anyone even considering aftermarket suspension should be jumping all over this!

Curious as to why your selling it?

I weigh 230 without gear so I doubt this would be enough for me, gear and fully loaded panniers....

I suspect you will need about another 100lb on the spring. But it would STILL be a good deal. :)

You can re-spring this for ~$90.

An 800 would probably be ideal for you. You might even be able to get away with the 750.

Even if you need a re-spring, you are still looking at close to $200 savings.

Yes, sold the Super T, with original shock and spring. The Penske made a nice difference to the ride for sure.

Damn I did not realize you sold your Tenere. Not for you? What are you riding now?
