I bought this set of filters from OZ, thinking that reusable filters will be the best thing for my RTW trip. Well that's true, but I decided to go the K&N route. Even though the K&N doesn't filter as well as the foam, the service intervals are longer. Which is not to say the interval is BAD on the Unifilter at 6000 miles - but for my particular purposes this might mean cleaning every few weeks, and I know I'm not going to want to deal with it on the road, when I might not have a comfortable situation in which to do the cleaning.
This is the same filter kit supplied stock on the Australian bikes, and as such is a genuine Yamaha part. unused, still in bag, $60 plus shipping
