I just purchased a used Tenere that came with all three cases. I will not be using the Top Case because I prefer my Givi V46, only downside to using it is that you cannot open the side cases with taking the Top Box off. I can live with this so I am selling my OEM Top Case (23P-F84A8-V0-00) and the OEM Top Case Inner Bag (23P-F47G0-V0-00). They are being sold as a pair. The bike had 2200 miles on it when I purchased it, so the items are in excellent condition. The Top Case has two minor scratches and the bag looks new. It has two keys, two locking mechanisms, one locking mechanism is installed. The items will be sold as is with no returns. PayPal only. The items are located in Seaside, CA 93955.

Hey SFC, If you can I would sell the Top Case without the Key Tumbler in it. This is keyed to your bike, same as your side cases. Each Tenere has their own three piece tumbler that came with the bike for the hard luggage. Take it to a dealer, or remove yourself. Just my thought, others can back me on this. If you would want to sell the inner case alone, I would like to buy it.

HoebSTer, Thanks for the info but maybe I'm missing something here. My case has a small yamaha key that will not work in my ignition or my two yamaha side cases. The extra lock has the exact same key and works with the top case. I will verify this when I get home tonight. My ignition key however is keyed to my side cases. I'm going to attempt to sell the two items together, but will keep you in mind if I decide otherwise.

Looks like the PO fitted a top case with an extra set of lock/keys - perhaps they didn't have an extra lockset for the top case that shipped with the bike. Yamaha ships the S10 with three extra locksets that match the ignition key with the idea they can be installed in the three OEM cases. Even if you didn't get the cases, you're supposed to get the locksets.

Assuming a buyer has these extra locksets, they should be able swap one into your topbox and then have a single-keyed bike. But you might as well sell your extra lockset with the box since the locksets don't match your ignition key anyway.

SFC, Thanks for your question. It appears MarkJenn has answered for me before I could get back to you. He is correct in which he is stating. Yes, go ahead and sell with the key. The locks that fit your saddlebag were part of the lock set which came with the bike from factory. Yamaha placed the 3pc lockset under the drivers seat in a bag for when the owner added the saddlebags. It would be too bad if they ditched your third lock tumbler instead of kindly placing it back under the seat.

HoebSTer and markjenn, thanks for the education! Now I'm wondering what happened to my third lock set. I guess whoever purchases the box will have a two locks and two keys because I don't need them.

I would think that anyone at anytime would be able to order a specific tumbler coded to their own bike if needed.
