Selling my 2014 Super Tenere with under 8,000 miles.
Please see list of farkles below, and photos attached.
My favorite standard features:
Electronic cruise control (works just like a car’s)
Gear indicator
Tubeless tires/spoked wheels
Linked ABS brakes
My favorite added features:
Custom Rich’s seat
Upgraded suspension
Included add-ons and what I paid for them:
• Upgraded suspension set-up by Konflict Motorsports in Seattle area (the best!) which includes Touratech shock and Progressive fork springs etc. $2000.
• Cal-Sci tall windshield $200 (you get stock windshield too)
• Altrider skid plate $360
• Altrider tail rack with storage area, with tool bag by Storm Industries that fits the opening. Tail rack is set up with Givi Monokey mounts for top case: $230
• Altrider U-joint Guard $80
• Tenere specific tool kit by RRR Tool Solutions $118
• Thunder Mfg rider’s pegs $125
• Oxford heated grips installed by dealer $90 for grips
• Wired for heated gear with remote controller, wired for battery tender, wired for tire pump.
• Slime brand tire pump powered by heated gear plug $30
• Eastern Beaver 3 circuit fuse block $75
• Madstad Adjustable Windshield Bracket $150
• Rigid Industries LED light bar driving light $210
• Mitas E07 Dakar tires installed at 4500 miles
• Custom Rich's seat leather (Rich's Seats in Kingston, WA) $600
• Garmin GPS model 665LM with Touratech locking GPS mount $600
• LED accessory brake lights, modulating and programmable, by Skene, on license plate frame $125
• Altrider crash bars $410
• Ram X mount for phone $40
• Rox handlebar risers and extended brake lines. Risers $120, brake lines $125
• Extra spokes of each size (just in case): $35
• Givi mounting ring for tank bag: $22
• Givi Trekker Outback Luggage: Side cases and top box, keyed alike, mounted on Givi racks $1400
• Yamaha Winglets for wind deflection $75
• Sidestand larger foot by ADVMotorrad $45
• Enduro Guardian Highway pegs mounted on skid plate $100
• ECU flashed and tuned at 2 Wheel Dyno Works in Kirkland, WA $350
• 5 year extended Yamaha warranty (YES), paid $500 for it, 3.5 years remaining. Have had no claims on the warranty.
• Always stored in heated garage on battery tender.
• All services done by dealer.
• Total of add-ons listed is over $8000
Negatives:
• Cal Sci windshield has some slight cracks at mounting holes from over-tightening. They are drilled, and cracks have stopped and have been stable for thousands of miles, but cosmetically not beautiful. But I have the as-new stock windshield too.
• One side case has a bit of scrape/slight dent from a 5 mph fall in snow. Not very noticeable.
Reason for selling: Just have too many hobbies and don’t ride. Put only a few hundred miles on it in the last year.
Not going to sell pieces and accessories separately at this time.
Price: Paid $15k for it, added over $8k. Will sell for $11,000.
