And I thought nobody cared. :-[

Appreciate the pics-THANKS!! About the only question I have left on these is the security issue. I know, if someone really wants it, they'll take the whole bike to get it. How long does it take to take the GB off? Say for instance I check into a motel-can I get it off in 5 minutes or so?

Pete

Signs of "First Dirt"

The buckle scratched up the heat shield a bit, but I don't much care. I think if I would have mounted the bag laid back using the tie downs or hand holds, it would have been fine. I chose to use the rear pegs as my lower anchor point and it worked fine while keeping the load stable.

It takes all of a minute to take the bags off. Three straps, one to the rear rack and one each on the passenger seat brackets.

Thanks-

I've heard no bad reviews on these. I'm thinking I just might pull the trigger here.

Agreed.

On my last trip, we had two motel nights. It took me longer to put my disc brake lock on the front wheel than it took for me to remove my GB. I used those flat carabiners to secure the bottom straps. Loosen, unclip. Loosen, the two straps I wove through the rear rack. Throw it up on my shoulder and head in. Honestly, messing with my old magnetic tang bag was a bigger hassle.

Installing it is easier.

::026:: Forgot to mention that once off the bike you can connect the straps together to create shoulder straps to throw the bag over your shoulder like a giant purse freeing up your hands to carry any other goodies you want to carry in.
