So,

I have been a bad boy. I have posted and have yet to introduce myself. I am a terrible person. Please accept my apologies.

About to hit 50 years of age. Been riding for 20 years. Took a long break to raise some kids. I am back at it now, with a 2016 S10 ES. Love it.

I live in Ventura County, California.

I ride 95% slab, 5% gravel / Fire roads.

You are all very helpful. Thank you for having me here.

Welcome SoCal! Not to knock Sierra but the further north you go on I 35, the greener it is *L*. I am sure Sierra will have something to say about the snow though.........

Already have things in common - 50+s, 20 yrs of riding, taking time off while raising kids, and now an S10. It's not a bad way for us (and it's not a mid life thing. Really!)

All the best!

Yup . . . . you can keep it. :D I don't mind visiting it, but, I have no desire to live with it. And, actually, if you go far enough south on I-35, it gets green again. :D
