San Diego BMW Motorcycles is showing the new SoCal BDR Movie this coming Saturday starting around 6PM. I'm planning to head to the BullPen sports bar for dinner around 5PM. Was planning on riding earlier in the day but it looks like there is a storm rolling in. Will likely be in the car. If you are looking for something to do, come meet me (and possibly my GF) at the sports bar and then head over with us to watch the movie (it's about a mile away from the dealer).

After being on the S 10 commuting on rain days on a full suspension bike, Im almost tempted to get a 1290 just for street with the damn freeways here...... Dont care one bit that ADV bike doesnt hit dirt. Got alot into the Harleys I own suspension wise, but travel is travel on rough shit, plain n simple.

That's a great run. I have wondered how the Tenere would do on that road. I have only went down from Big Bear a few times on my Beta. I remember a few really deep sand sections as you get toward the bottom. If you do it let me know how the bike handles it.

Ive wheeled the Jeep thru the area many, many times..... Theres a rarely known little gem "Mottino Wash" tucked up in that area.

Havent taken the S10 thru there, but there should be zero issues through there with no snow.... That run is basically fire road stuff.....

Alot of off shoot stuff up there to run off the main roads too on that side of the 38.

I did some once at a park on one of my stroms...
Every time I see a set of outdoor steps I think about doing it but always worried about the wrong person seeing me.........
