Just bought this out of the crate. Haven't picked it up yet, but am looking forward to it.

Very Nice!

Have wanted one from the first time I read about it. Have not seen one yet.

Oops, I forgot I posted this. Bike is still at the dealer -- waiting for all the snow to melt off. Will try to post a quickie review when I finally pick it up.

Started out on a 1991 Nighthawk 750, then onto a Honda Superhawk. Sold the Superhawk, and bought a Ducati Multistrada. Loved the Adventure Touring category, but didn't have a good experience with the Multi - sold that and bought the Tenere as well as a 1992 Yamaha TDM 850 that I restored and ride all the time. The TDM is very, very similar to the Tenere. Almost like brothers separated by 20 years. Too bad the TDM wasn't a hit, but I'm glad Yamaha brought the Tenere stateside. I will say that the TDM is very hard to find parts for, as it would seem many of the parts are TDM specific. I believe I read on here that the Tenere also has mostly bike – specific parts, but it’s been uber-reliable so hopefully that won’t be a problem!
