So, Is the ST coming as a Regular Dealer Stocking Item in 2012?

Couple of dealers seem to be stocking them...will Yamaha be adding them to the regular dealer allocation next year or not?

Anyone know?

i think its a second shipment since we were able to order more a week ago altho not in the numbers we would have liked, We will have models on the floor in three weeks and giving orders for next year shortly, i actually hope despite selling every one we had here they don't import to many and let the bargain basement stores whore them out at 200 over cost just to jump their numbers, there's a reason BMW and some other makes hold their used values well, they don't have the walmart mentality dealers blowing stuff out to make short term friends and 50 bucs later down the road!

I know profit is a dirty word but nobody wants to work for nothing right?

I don't know, Rod. I will check with our rep when I see him again. Orders are being taken now and there is another order period later, so if these are not new production, it appears the next ones will be. There is an allocation per dealer, so not all dealers will be able to order all they want. I am excited that our dealer will have one as a demo, in addition to his regular stock shortly.

I trust that they think they will be getting them but will they-? I could have gone to a dealer in a different area but hope to have any major service done at the dealer in Redondo Beach where I will be buying it. Thinking positively because what's to worry, right.
If anybody has heard any info I'd be loving to know, ... I think.

I think dealers should know by now whether they have allocation in the PDP left-overs. If they do, then you should be fine. The issue is that some dealers will not have allocation, but will go ahead and take a refundable deposit, then go out and try and trade with another dealer for a bike.
