Nice and sunny today after the snowfall overnight. Picked up another 2", but I think there was a false sense of security for a lot of people.
Huge pile-up on the PA turnpike. This area is about 5 miles south of me and drive it pretty regularly. Good thing I'm working from home today.

Still F'ing snowing......
We haven't seen enough snow in New Mexico last three seasons,so glad for you!!

So when late spring and summer hits you your forestry service won't close the forestry roads due to excessive fire danger like they will in the south west..

But that will give me a good reason to hit Colorado!! ::008::

Doesn't happen here....most State and Federal land is closed all the time....just means a bad mud season this year.

Limey, he can't have meant you!
But it was a risky comment since a recent thread revealed quite a few well mannered Harley dudes with Teneres.

We ended up around 17 inches. Made it to work today. A coworker was about 20 minutes behind me on the same road and he had to get around a car that flipped sometime after I had passed by. Not shocked. There were a few times where a lane ended with little warning.

One thing I learned is that my Sidi Adventure Gore Tex boots really are 4 season boots. Used them the last summer in the high 90 degree temps, and for more than 90 minutes yesterday in the high 20s. Very happy with the versatility of the boot.

He does that from time-to-time. Just his nature I suppose - he's like the drunk, grumpy old uncle at the holiday dinner table everyone laughs at behind his back.. Just sayin'

;).

Damn, that looks pretty remote. Looks like the only way to get there is via that airport when you zoom in. ???

We just came off of some minus 35 a few days ago. Supposed to be just above freezing tomorrow. It's amazing how good freezing feels after minus 35. Makes you want to go outside and roll nekked in the snow. R. ::008::

Dare ya. Pics to prove it.
Wait, on second thought, a couple of witnesses will suffice.

Heh heh. I like that. If I don't get some money soon, I'll be forced to post some rude pictures. Nobody wants that. The lying weather vermin are still calling for flat on zero (32) today. I'm liking it. Gonna be bucking firewood today, and maybe a sauna later. Pics? You want pics ??? You know what to do. Heh heh. :-* R

Went to Southern New Mexico Carrizozo and Alamogordo Sunday till Wednesday, White Sands is on indefinite close for now due to some F-4 Phantom target drone that crashed in the national park boundaries still under further investigation.
Never the less it was a nice 70+ degree to 50's at night but the pollen count was off the chart due to a sudden heat wave that caused every evil weed to erupt.
I was riding with one eye open most of the time lived on benadryl and Beer at night....zzzzzz!!! ::003::
