At the Romney event, this Spring, a lot of people were speaking highly of this road. But I didn't get the chance...until this weekend.

Here is a sample of some of this fun paved road.

It's a fun road. On Saturday I took my wife on her first Smoke Hole Road ride.

I was really surprised on how few bikes I saw out riding that day. Gorgeous day, where was everyone?

One of my favorite roads! I took a photo of Eagle Rock and framed it.

From the old white wooden country store that is back there in Smoke Hole, take the gravel USFS road (maybe 95?) up to the top of North Fork Mtn. Continue out past the towers and continue on dirt to the microwave relay antenna and you get a view of Seneca Rocks.

I lived there in the N Fork Valley for 6 years and have played there for over 20 years. The riding is very very good!!!

And if you liked that road, check out the loop you can make with Smoke Hole/221/33/and Smith Mtn Road. Endless riding...
