A new seal….seals…..if it doesn't seal at first, it will never seal, (not that they settle with the miles until they seal completely)

I have the same feeling....it shouldn't leak, not after replacing the entire pump.A new seal….seals…..if it doesn't seal at first, it will never seal, (not that they settle with the miles until they seal completely)

In the crankcase, there is positive pressure, which is vented to the filter box. the hose is between the valve cover and the filter box…it is seen from the left side or from the left front…it has a couple of curves…but you have to make sure that these curves are smooth…that the curves are not closed….I have the same feeling....it shouldn't leak, not after replacing the entire pump.
I need to have this checked by the shop, if someone can point / show where this crankcase breather hose is located...it could help.
Anyway, do you suggest if this other hose is somehow blocked, it could cause the leak ? ( path of least resistance thing ? )

looking at that visor,(in your pic) you probably have to uncover the filter box and clean the oil in the baseI thought this below could be related to it...looks full of oil and i know it's connected to the bottom of the airbox.
I'll have to try and check it, but most likely, it'll get done by the shop since i suppose it'll envolve removing the tank and other stuff to get there.

On my bike I can reach that with long nose pliers. Stick a paper towel under it and pop it off. Mine has previously had oil in it, but never full up. Appears to be a lot of oily residue around that area.I thought this below could be related to it...looks full of oil and i know it's connected to the bottom of the airbox.

Thanks ! ;-) I can see a pipe coming from the top of the valve cover, curving inwards, under the airbox. And as far as i can see, it doesn't look pinched. Don't know if it's the right one to look at...looking at that visor,(in your pic) you probably have to uncover the filter box and clean the oil in the base
number 4 the hose is further back and more to the middle of the air box

The problem with oil leakage is that the oil seal is in place so that water does not enter the oil (in case the water seal breaks (8) )I have a 2023 Yamaha Super Tenere, brought it in for its 4,000 mile service and they found the same oil leak problem with the water pump. Under warranty so being replaced. Hopefully Yamaha is looking into this.
