Hey Guys,

Merry Christmas !

I was recently told that the 2016 FJR has a new slipper clutch.. I like riding with one and started comparing part numbers to see if we could take some FJR parts and throw them on our clutch. I've worked with Barnett for several years and know that the clutches are very similar. That doesn't mean the same... lol.. I've gone back and forth with years / part numbers / counting parts / Etc.. There are a million reasons this wouldn't work, can anyone see a reason it might work?

I'm already sniffing out pretty big changes to the new Tenere,,,, full color dash like the R1, lots more electronics, slipper clutch, more power, etc... The Tenere took many queue's from the R1, we can probably expect more of the same this next time.. You can look across the "adventure manufacturing landscape" and see what might be in the future for there premier ADV bike.

Anyone have some thoughts or ideas on the clutch, start typing.... :)
