My thoughts too. But I’m not averse to a hot water bottle

After doing some more research and looking to re-DWR my ridding jacket I came across an interesting article I thought I would pass on to youYeah we get rain all year round in the uk and if you camp regularly your bag will get wet or damp. Down bags don’t work well when wet so I was thinking of either a goretex protected down bag or a synthetic bag that will still work well when damp. Weight isn’t an issue now so I can afford to choose bags that I wouldn’t have chosen when back packing a few years ago

Yes, the Big Agnas has a lot of room. With bag and sleeping pad connected, rolling around is like sleeping in bed at home. You roll back and forth but the bag never moves. I'm 6'3" 240 lbs and wide in the shoulders. I comfortably roll from side to side without any restrictions. Bag has another 12"+ of extra width. Very roomy but packs small being there is no down in the underside. I highly recommend.I suppose most of us turn over quite a bit during the night, sleep on our backs and sides. Most bags need a snug fit to be effective, but when you turn, the bag turns with you. If the bag is big, as The name of your bag implies you can maybe turn within it![]()
