Anybody using Arrow headers and if so what skid plate fits properly. The pipes go a little forward vs stock and the sensors need a little more room.

I'm using the Yamaha aluminium bash plate with the arrow headers. From what I've read on here it is the best bash plate for street use...because it's crap for off road! I didn't get a choice in this though, it was all fitted to the bike when I bought it and I don't go off road.

No, never experienced anything like that. I have an extender on my front mud guard and it clears that too. I've heard horror stories of extenders getting hooked behind bash plates on full compression and getting ripped off when the forks extend again.

Thanks twin rider, problem was protruding forward to far. Ordered Trex Racing crash bars and skid plate @ $499. I am FR and dual track guy at most off road. Otherwise I would have gone with Baldknob's suggestion of AltRider but for an additional $94 I went for Trex and got better crash bars? and a serviceable skid plate for me. BTW I did flash the bike and I would never own the S10 without it. It made me forget about my loss of the GSA. Pile on Sierra 1. You'll never know until you try it. I will be in the Hill Country the beginning of April come over and ride Anthony's refresh.

I have Yamaha OEM bash plate with Arrow headers too, and as it's not an enduro or heavy duty glide plate more off-road oriented, so far I'm happy with it as long as in "trail" use or soft off-road use (I'm not an endurist).

This plate is designed to protect the bottom of the motorcycle from projections or other minor or med impacts, and not to be a crossing support or other big crash protection, and in my case it does the job properly.

I've also made an extra DIY aluminium exhaust protection screwed on the bottom of the plate, and mounted Yamaha side extensions which have already been useful a number of times

So IMHO mixing both Arrow headers and OEM plate is not completely irrelevant on this kind of motorcycle :)
