Mosco производит лучшую мотоэкипировку для туризма и внедорожных приключений. Она не промокает, смягчает удар при падении мотоцикла, и нет замков, которые забиваются грязью и песком. Это здорово.

I agree Andrey. @Mad_Matt recommended I spend the extra money and purchase the BC35s, and I'm so glad I did. I just finished up my moto-camping tour across the States using these, and they were perfect for me. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat - for all the reasons you mentioned, and more.

And here, at the low end of the pannier economic spectrum, I present my pannier setup:

Three Chinese fake Pelican cases, that I bought from a now defunct electronics supply house. They were marketed under the Duratool brand and sold as tool cases. For all three of them, they were probably a little over a hundred bucks back in 2013. They are surprisingly durable for what I paid for them; I could stand on them and not damage them.

The crash bar bags are M40/42 gas mask carriers that I repurposed. Very heavy duty cordura nylon. They were about $18.00 each, brand new. The ones in the first photo are Rothco canvas shoulder bags; sadly, they didn't hold up as well as I'd hoped, and I replaced them with the gas mask carriers.

The pseudo-Pelicans have been on two different bikes now for approximately 11 years and 125,000 miles and are still going strong.

Hi, can someone give me the overall installed width of the SW-Motech Trax ADV cases on your Super Tenere? Trying to decide between these and the Bumot cases (largest) which are 38" wide installed. Thank you.

Just bought this set of Outbacks yesterday from a fellow forum member. Came with the cargo nets as well - couldn't be happier. My bike came with the outback racks, but with Wolfman's soft lugguge. I added the top case which I love. I'm not concerned the top case and the new side cases don't match because I probably will rarely ride with all of them attached. Givi products are really great quality.

The Givi 47L top case works well for me and I think it compliments the looks of the bike.
Quite a few factors with panniers and top cases to consider.
Do you still need the mounting bracket for a Top case? Looks like the case should be able to go right on, but maybe still needs a bracket/rack in-between the bike and the case. If this is true, what mounting bracket/rack did you go with? I have been searching on revzilla.

Would the attached pics be compatible? Also curious about the $75 universal. Why would anyone , not, go with this? Just because it's plastic vs aluminum?

Replying again, I actually figured it out after seeing a few ppl setups. I see you and many other have the aluminum bracket and so I got that plus went with the giving monkey too case.

Just didn't want you wasting time on research after I went ahead with a decision! Should work well. Fingers crossed!

I purchased my 23 in Sept of 2023. Of the three dealers in my area that sell Yamaha's only one had one ST1200 left. They are not my fav dealer and I don't service my bike there even though they are the closest. They offered me the ST1200 for $15899 which was a good deal, down from the $16299. However, once they provided me their final numbers their assembly was $799 which I felt was a total rip off. Then they added a protection package which covered tires and the battery for 3 years for $999. I refused to pay for the protection package and they said they cannot remove it. So I got up and said I'm not paying for something for a grand that I see no value in. In the end they agreed to remove the protection package for $999 but then told me they are also removing the $400 discount so I bought the bike for $16299. If anyone within a 100 miles had the bike I would not have purchased it there. I take my bike to a great dealer about 40 miles away for service. They bend over backwards and do a great job and their prices for service are great.

Have you decided on the luggage you're going to buy yet?

Yeah, I agree that the stock windshield doesn't offer great protection on long trips, especially at higher speeds. I purchased a Puig Touring shield and its got a nice gray tint which goes well with the bike color. I'm very happy with it. It was the first accessory I bought.

Sti ks they were so pushy about how all the pricing broke down and what was charged. They did have an assembly fee which I asked for them to take off. But apparently they come in a few pieces and do have to assemble the bike, do the hydraulics, all the fluids, and test everything before it goes out on the floor. They tried to have me pay for a 3 year tire and battery warranty for $1500... I declined and they pushed a little bit were ok with taking it off. I went with a blemished top case and the aluminum bracket/mount. Images attached.

Awesome setup. How you liking the Mosko Moto's so far?
They're spendy, but I'd buy them again for sure. The production quality is superb. I've motocamped about 10k miles with them so far, and I don't have any complaints.

Honesty, the Back Country's may be the first time I've purchased a piece of kit that I wasn't soon lusting after someone else's rig. :D

Comparison is the thief of joy, eh?

I'm still trying to find a use for the beaver tails, tho. Does anyone have a good use-case for the beaver tail they can share?

I have the moskomoto setup but been using the igloo coolers, they are just too handy and fit a bag of groceries perfect. I did put the 35l bags on about a month ago for the first time just for kicks, haven't really used them though. I found if you put canning wax on the rails of the frames they slide together much better and the wax won't attract dirt, though wax is not too tolerant of water.

The wax is a great tip. I'm going to give that a go.

And thanks for mentioning the fitment - for anyone new to the Back Country's - they are super-tight on the frames, out of the box. Which is a good thing.

Just know that you may have to really lean on them to get them to snap into place at first. And a good tug to get them off, too.

It gets better over time. The wax seems like a good option, too.

Ok so I finally got my rack and top case in from RevZilla! Issues with my address and the rack not getting to me.

I am pleased with the setup for sure! It said it could fit 2 helmets.....but my LS2 Adventure doesn't even fit. My fault for not measuring but it's ok I guess... Maybe a non-modular fullface that fits comfortably.

Pics below!
