Shoei Neotech chomped my Sena.

See the picture below.

Lifting and closing the modular lid, the Sena mic boom got bit a couple times.
I would like to repair the rubber skin. I'm thinking a simple fix would be black, electrical tape.
Is there some other product that might look better and perform as well or better than electrical tape?

That's what I was thinking, since heat shrink is closest to what is there from the factory.

Can you cut heat shrink? Because a piece of heat shrink would be to small to slide over the mic. A piece large enough to get over the mic, would be too large to shrink down enough to fit tight around the boom arm.

I wonder if Plastidip is flexible enough to work?

Look for heat shrink that has a large ratio, like 4:1 or 6:1.
