I just installed a set of Shinko 705s and the front took a lot of weight. 3oz. I will admit the Dot was not placed correctly, well it was when I started to mount the tire but apparently it shifted so its about 6 inches off from the valve. I can't believe it would make that huge a difference. Maybe it does. I haven't ridden he bike yet so I have no idea if the balanced is correct other than on the static balancer. I also added an ounce of Dynabeads....

Just curious if anyone else has experience with the 705s.

On a side note I pulled the rear caliper to check the pads and they were almost ready to be replaced. However one of the slide pins came out hard and I noticed the threads seemed galled. I ordered a replacement pin as the caliper seems okay. Anyone see this issue? I assume it came from the factory like that as I have done all the work on the bike and that was the first time I unbolted the caliper. Basically the bike is sitting on the lift waiting on pads and the pin before she can get test ridden....

I have. The last set we were not able to really get the front tire balanced very well. Below 65 it was fine, but get about 70 and the front would cause a vibration that was awful .
