How the locking straps connect. Between the velcro straps. Under and then over the rack. Not the most elegant, flush looking connections--mounted to the PL367. But this is a temporary solution. I'll get hardcases later.

Blasted out yesterday just to bond with the bike. Mostly in tour mode, which was excellent for exploring the country side and being frugal with the gas mileage. Yeah, sport mode when I get to something more fun. I dont love the temporary pannier setup. I like the look of hardcases. Either way, lots and lots of healthy producing smiling going on over here. Have to finish the GPS mount and I'm done for a while. Got Anakees on her. May grab some Pilot Roads next.

Questions.

1) What rpm is lugging the bike? What is an optimal cruising RPM?
2) Where the heck is the hazard lights button!
3) clicking (valve clatter) normal with the 4 stroke twin?

Yeah, gotta find the manual.

4)How does one get the "where I've been" map in the profile signature?

1) I like to cruise around the 4k mark on the highway, which in 6th gear translates to about 75mph (may indicate up to 80)
2) There isn't one. If you want hazard lights, there are a few threads here on the forum about adding them, including one I wrote up.
3) This is a noisy motor, so not 100% sure which noise you are referring to. If you haven't read all the CCT threads, they might be worth investigating.
4) Create the map. Save it to an online account (Smugmug, Google, etc.). Copy the URL, and go to edit your profile. In the signature field, use the IMG tag (instead of URL) to bracket the URL of your map. Save your changes and it should be on all of your existing posts, and be added to new ones.
