Hi folks,

I have been using a black sheepskin on my saddle for comfort purposes. I left the bike out in the heavy rain for a couple of days, and when removing the sheepskin to dry it out, saw that some of the black dye had leached out into the white paintwork on my tank where it touched it.
I was able to remove most of it using white spirit, but there is astill a vague discolouration if you know where to look. Might be worth a check on your own bikes if you have left a sheepskin in place for a length of time.
Cheers
Rob

Same theory with leaving colored gloves resting across a painted surface in the rain.
