I've done the dempter too many times, south Canol more.

North canol to Old Squaw Lodge and the Dalton to Deadhorse are high on the list. Any takers??
When is your week off? I am contemplating the North Canol before winter hits. - Not sure about the stock rubber on the bike though for that trip.

I might be up for that as well, if you boys aren't gonna get too rowdy. I'd want to do an up and back in a day though, as I'm not set up for camping very well. Get as far as I can then head 'er back to Faro. YOu guys are probably a heartier bunch than I am. I've done a lot of overnighting in the bush, but mostly out of a boat so size and weight of gear wasn't a concern. I never leave home without my 4" foamie. R

Up and back in a day might be tough, particularly if Old Squaw is the target. There are a couple of water crossings I believe and fuel will be an issue. I am not sure of the range on the SupaT, maybe 400km - that round trip will be more like 500km.

but hey, you are riding a 100hp scooter it will handle a 4" foamy no problem. These rigs will do two up with a full load of gear I am sure. And nothing rowdy for me, I am getting old and the testosterone has dropped way off.

No, I'd just go up maybe 4 hours and then back ... wherever that took me.

But there's the 6 man tent, 12 volt DC cooler, three burner camp stove and 40 pounds of ice. Let me think about it. Okay, I guess if you're coming in I better get kicking. It's ugly here but hey, so am I.

If you don't make it, no worries. WE'll be there until about 9:45 or so I figure. bye bye R

I am off next week, I know a little ambitous but I have a feeling the scoots might show up. Do my 600 mile Skagway/Haines loop, quick service, throw on the panniers and if the tires look decent head north? If next week does not fly, then I may try to shake a couple more days another week. I am doing an overnight in Van for work, fly out early 24th back the evening of the 26th. Could do a trip 27th-??

A long weekend would do it, I am sure we will get a chance to talk more as we drool and wait at the shop for our bikes to be set up. Last one out the door is a rotten egg... :D

Out for a ride last night on the WR, as I was bombing down the ditch near the scales spotted a truck with "toy" crates. Zipped closer and was disappointed to see the rig full of arctic cat crates. Good for someone - not me!!

My spidy senses tell me the bikes are in town, at a warehouse and the lazy buggers won't deliver until Monday!! Sleepless in Whitehorse...

Off to pound more single track.

Yep, another one. Us northerners know what works up here  I've been patiently :D waiting since the winter bike shows.
It gave me time to accumulate a VERY large farkle pile (AltRider, Wasp & my C/C companys love me, wife not so much :))

Smoke color MRA Vario windscreen.
As you can tell I like a wide variety of colors. I am also going to cover some of the plastics with 3M di-noc carbon wrap

Ha!!! Yep, I knew it without even asking!!! You guys may have to find yourselves a new dealer up that way - one that offers "other than Raven" color choices!!! :D

Sounds like you have a good combination of farkles planned for it!!
