HI there, is the mian front led lights able to fit into the weather proof cap?
Do u need to mod it cut main wiring to fit the new led?

yes,

as they are yamaha leds they fit the weather proof tear drop section like my gen 1 indicators did

So....just beginning to realise what a major job it's going to be to strip down the bike to simply replace the indicators. So I thought I'd check the new ones by connecting them directly to a 12v battery...then I wondered if this might damage them in some way. Advice and guidance appreciated. Please.

There should be no issue connecting LED indicators to a 12v battery. Remember that they won’t flash if you simply connect the 2 wires without the flasher unit being connected. One other thing is LEDs usually will only work if you connect + to + and - to - but you won’t damage them by connecting incorrectly.

Hi Rob. I've got the front and rear. Just started to strip the bike down to install. Can't quite get my head around how much needs to be removed to simply replace the indicators. Hope it's worth it.... Also installing Komy 3500 lights. Much rather do this than lights on the Christmas tree
