Sent messages

Why is it that I can go to My Mesages and see all the messages in my inbox. However, if I go to Sent Items, it shows that I have no sent messages? It would be nice to be able to access them so that when someone PM's a question that I have answered for someone else, I can find it, copy and paste it into a new message.

The short story is you need to turn this feature on.
