Once a month, I ride from Surprise, AZ to this location in Sedona.
I take the 89A all the way there.
It's about a 170-180 mile ride one way, going through three mountain passes with amazing 15-25mph twisties and nice small towns (Jerome is the best).
I then make a left on the 535 which is all dirt for about 10 miles. Up and down steep(ish) hills, a few tight turns but nothing too technical for the bigger bikes like my Super Tenerer fully loaded with 80/20 Metzeler Tourances.
The dirt is well packed and easy to ride on. Except when it either snows or rain, then it's all muddy. The elevation is about 6000 ft in the mountains with tress on both sides of the road and the occasional campers.
I usually set up camp in a different spot every time I go. There are some fire pits left over from previous campers, which cuts time in prepping for a nice camp fire.
I never see any ADV bikes there. I am usually the only one.

I figured I'd share this relaxing routine of mine incase some of you were interested in checking out (in my opinion) the most beautiful place in AZ on your next ADV ride.
