Security Torx sizes

I hate these things. They should have come with a torx bit for the oem rack and oem bags. :'(

The big bolt on the rack, what size is it?

The little ones on the bag locks, what size are they?

I bought a set of security torx bits from Amazon.com that includes the t50 size that you need for the OEM luggage bolts. It was only $15 for the set.

What is the size of the tiny ones on the lock sets for oem luggage. T15 seems too big.

torx is torx, get one of these cheap from harbor freight. I have a couple of the 100 piece sets and been using it for several years on my Japanese security bit torx bolts.

I bought one from HF and the T45 is too small for the rack bolt and the T15 is too large for the lock set screws.

FYI the torx in the box lock sets are T10 still searching for a T-50 tamper proof

T-50 is what you need, I got a set of 15 pieces for $7 at Autozone.

I think they are referring to the bolts that come with the OEM panniers? My hand rail bolts are standard allen hex, so...... ???

The back hand rail bolt is replaced with a longer bolt and the head is a torx T-50 tamper proof. The pannier lock sets are a tamper proof T-10.
