I have heard that soooo many times! ::002::taskmaster86 said:I tried the stock seat for a while and it is OK.
Then I got the seat concepts seat kit and installed it myself. It was my first time ever doing a seat and the install went well. As far as comfort goes, It is a little better than stock but by much..... Not worth bothering with if you ask me.
If I could do it all over again, I would have just got the Russell day long in the first place..... You live and learn I guess O
If anyone is interested, my seat concepts kit (rider seat only) will go up for sale around Christmas time.
I've had a Corbin on other bikes. For the price I don't think I'll ever get one again, although they are one of the best looking seats.Bigbore4 said:I must be weird and or lucky. I have a 2012. Made my first ride on the stock seat with my Bead Rider beads on it. It was OK, covered some miles and some long days. I did not like the OE cover, too sticky. So I ordered a heated Corbin. Corbin just works for me for some reason, this is my 3rd bike with a Corbin saddle. I put the Corbin on cuz I have been happy with them and they are mid point price wise. I don't have the miles some of the guys have (55K), but I do have a lot of long day's on the bike. SS's, BB's and just did a 50 CC quest. I still throw the beads on when it's hot, they allow breathing of your butt.
I have never ridden a Russel, but I don't think it would work for me. I move around on the bike a lot and the cheeks on that saddle would make that awkward. Not sure if any of this ramble helps, but seems like anything else you will have to try different stuff to find "your" sweet spot.

How do YOU know my weight changes...............?Checkswrecks said:I've been totally happy with the Seat Concepts kit, having put it on both of my Teneres, Gen1 and Gen2. It flattened the seat, made it broader, and just works for me.
Obviously, your ass may vary.
I've seen a lot of positive reviews on the Saddlemen seat. Anyone using one on here?Checkswrecks said:I've been totally happy with the Seat Concepts kit, having put it on both of my Teneres, Gen1 and Gen2. It flattened the seat, made it broader, and just works for me.
