Just wondering if any Tenere riders in the Scottsdale AZ area are up for a day ride next week? I am going to be on vacation in Scottsdale next week and was hoping to find some other Tenere riders in area. I plan on taking a couple of day trips up north toward Payson, Sedona, Jerome. Anyway I am going to be in the area the first week of June. I am going to try to get two days of riding in because it is our family vacation I can't ride everyday.

If I wasn't moving, I'd be all over this. There is a bunch of great riding in the area. If you do head up to Payson, check out Forest Road 300. It's an easy dirt ride along the Mogollon Rim. You can run it either east to west or west to east.

You will want to head for the higher elevations, as the valley is topping out around 100* every day...

Thanks AVGeek, we love Az if they ever discover oil in the state we are going to be the first ones out there. I don't know how much dirt I will be doing since I am going to be riding by myself but thanks for the heads up. I hope your move goes smoother that ours.

Sorry I missed your message by a week. Just got my Ten and live in Peoria. I know all of the rim area you rode and would have loved to go with you. I guess I was spending so much time prepping for Estes park, I missed you. When you come back maybe a day or two on the new Az BDR- looks like a great off road trail all through Az. Until then.........
