Ok

I have had a few folk say sort or organise something up here so..........

September 16-18/19 or 23-25/26 long weekend. September weather is usually still dry and be warm, midgies will have died down and roads will be free mostly from tourists.

I will see what numbers are then I will take you guys around Highlands and best roads in UK for biking on. This will be normal roads and will have no off road sections so you are aware before thinking about it. I run tours for clubs so will be a great set of routes and will organise details once I have an idea of numbers.

Applecross will be my main aim up by Skye which if you've not done it before it's a bucket list to do ::008:: I'll probably look to do a night in Edinburgh as i can sort beer/restaurant/accommodation very easily while a good starting point for folk traveling from South. I was thinking on the Friday to meet everyone at Hartside top Cafe (South of Carlisle) and bring you up through some great roads to Edinburgh.

Just thoughts and throwing it out there

That sounds very interesting. My annual highland tour got scuppered the last couple of years so I'm keen to get up there again. I'll start working on those dates.

Will keep a eye on this, but I hope to have a knee op this year and with no date set yet I hope I am well enough to consider it. Thanks for taking the time to organize and plan.

I quite like the sound of this so will keep an eye on the thread. I must say though, it's very generous of you to sort the beer out ::025::

Just looking at my forward calendar and this rideout is looming up!

I'm sorry but can't make either option as on my preferred option I am now having to work on the saturday.

Maybe another time.

Sorry iam out, would have loved to do the 2nd option but health problems have stopped me riding or pretty much doing anything since late June, and with no diagnosis apart from a xray showing that something is eating away at my ulna bone, riding again has become a far off dream. Enjoy the trip P-P.

Sorry to read about your medical problem! That's really cruel. My heart felt sympathies.
Hopefully the experts can come up with a fix soon?
