Any Super Ten owners running The Sava tires yet? They have not been out in the US very long and are being distributed by RawHyde and saw their review on their site. http://www.rawhyde-offroad.com/sava/index.html

impressive and maybe too good to be true. Looks similar to TKC 80 but are claiming to get 6K on a rear with aggressive use. I ran TKC 80's before on a GS and got 3K on a rear and maybe 6 or 7K on the front. Was thinking I would just burn up the Tourance EXP that came on my new 2012 leftover I just bought but after riding these on mild gravel and dirt roads this weekend, I think I will take them off now before I kill myself. They are great on the twisty's but lacking on hard packed and would not want to see what they are like on anything loose. Ran K60 Scouts on my last bike and got 11K on a rear and still had a couple mm left when I got my ST. Nice tires but didn't find them great on wet hard packed dirt, felt pretty slimy with that solid center tread rib. The Sava, could be it. Any one in EU running these maybe? Will be at the Overland Expo and maybe RawHyde will have them there to check out and purchase?

One of their claims is that this tire is "less expensive" than the TKC's. Not sure what kind of math they're using to make this claim. TKC's are widely available for about $245/pair delivered; the Sava's are a full $100 more and I don't know if this includes shipping. Perhaps the purported higher mileage would make up for this, but I'd want to see some testimonials from someone other than the folks selling them.
