::009:: I think a bunch of us Super Ten riders can agree that the stock seat is not the most comfortable seat in the world. After much deliberation I ordered a new Saddlemen from a dealer off ebay. The dealer emailed me shortly after the order was placed, stating that the seat was out of stock and 4 business days from his Vegas store. He offered to let me cancel if I didn't want to wait that long. I didn't cancel and two weeks later the new Saddlemen seat had arrived. I felt like a little kid on Christmas morning when the FedEx truck driver rang my door bell and left the white box with my seat on my front porch. The joy quickly vanished as soon as I opened the box and noticed the rear hook was mounted the wrong way.
After several phone calls and multiple emails a Saddlemen rep had emailed a UPS (ground) return slip, I called them and was informed that it would most like be 4 weeks before I would have a new seat. My buns really don't want to wait that long. I grabbed a 1/4 drill bit drilled out the rivets and went to a friend repair shot that has a heavy duty 1/4 rivet gun he uses to repair car windows.
The seat fit and is super comfortable. I can't wait for my first long ride. Anyone want to buy a used OEM seat? LOL
