re: Sac area GSDSR Night ride. The GCDSR group set the date for the annual night ride. A few of us with S10s are going, if you are in the area and want to go, head over to the Gold Country Dual Sport riders group site for more information. I know TomatoCity Tim and others hang out here so I just wanted to drop a note here too. We wait til it gets dark. The group heads through Auburn > Georgetown for pizza stop, Wentworth, back over to Auburn on the back roads for a stop, stars/meteors lookout. Super casual, slow riding at night, adv bikes, cruisers. 20-25 bikes go every year. A few more S10s wouldn't hurt, 3-4 S10s going so far. D

Sounds like fun. Any particular business, or just look for a group of bikes gathered after dark? Is Yahoo Groups their info location? From an old thread elsewhere; www.gcdsr.com doesn't work. ::025::

yes, if you type GCDSR on Google, its the first and only Gold Country Dual Sport Riders group you'll find at the top of the search list.
If you register with the group, the direct Nightride link is here: https://beta.groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/GCDSR/conversations/topics/12532

The meetup place will be posted soon, starting from somewhere in Citrus Heights or Antelope. The group travels up Folsom-Auburn road to Auburn over to Georgetown for the official meetup spot at 8:30 in Georgetown usually for Pizza then clutch out a 9PM to begin the real night ride. It's a blast, great group, I've gone on this ride several years and it never disappoints. If I don't see you guys post a reply over in the GCDSR site, I'll post a reply here once the departure info becomes more available.
