S10 sub frame

Hi to you all and thanks for the add on, Im looking to buy a new S10 2017, test road one back to back with the triumph explorer 1200 back in 2016 and I just fell for the S10 straight away the weight distribution and ride feel was a lot more engaging for me than the triumph its all up high and felt top heavy, can any of you S10 owners tell me if the S10 sud frame is bolted to the main frame or weilded.
I forgot to check on the S10 must of been to happy at the time the Explorer sub frame is weilded to the main frame which I think not to clever if you were to drop it heavey would effect the hole bike frame any ways thanks again to you all ride safe look forward to all your learnerd replies all the best from the UK ::015::

The subframe is a bolt on unit. From looking at the Exploder a couple of years back, read that insurance would basically write off the bike if you laid it down and bent the rear peg hanger....
