Hi guys..... I have a late 2011 first edition model. Chopped in both my Bandit 1250 and Wee Strom for this bike.
18 months later and i'm still really happy with it...... never had the starting issue, no weeping fork seals and no corrosion, not even on the spokes. These seem to be the only issues I hear a few owners moaning about. Only thing I didn't like was the zorst, so changed it for an MTC, also done the clutch switch mod.

It looks like all the rubber has worn off of the "tires". You can't ride on the dirt with those! ::005::

There's plenty of tread left in em, the road salt is disguising it...... but Bridgstone Battlewings are hardly an off road tyre anyway.

Welcome from the USA. The Wee Strom and Bandit are both great bikes. I predict you will like this one as much or better. ::008::

Had the S10 long enough now to know I made the right choice.....
The 1250 was my 4th Bandit. Had a MK1 6, a MK1 12 and a MK2 12 in the past......... Wee Strom was a great bike, ultra reliable and cheap as chips to run. S10 pisses all over it in just about every department though apart from MPG.

lol.

I don't think the ST will ever match the mpg of a wee.
Mind you, you might miss the shits and giggles of the bandits, great motors.

Enjoy the bike, great choice

Well you'll be a lucky chap if you don't get even one or more of those little problems you mentioned. Maybe you won't. Stay lucky. Welcome to the fold BTW :)

Hi Jeff, welcome to the forum. I've only been here a short while having collected my S10 on the 1st March. My tyres are just as salty, and I can't wait for it to be washed away so we can get back to some serious riding again.

Just bought a Wee for the Mrs, may have to steal it for some cheap commuting.

If you fancy a meet up some time let me know, I am near Oxford and there are a couple of Swindon boys lurking here.

The Wee is deffo the bike for cheap commuting..... its probably the most fuel efficient middleweight bike I've ever owned.
Will do on a meet sometime, most of my rideouts are Dorset south coast and Somerset/Devon, often at Weston Super Mare bike park as well. Also do a few rallies as well.

Thx for all the welcome posts people.
