Sorry, boys. I got the bike home. All good. Jeeze it sounds good. Damn. Anyway, as I don't have plates or insurance yet, I started puttering with it and couldn't stop. Got my Givi topbox rack installed, and then went on and installed the SW Mo pannier racks. Went really well. Looks good. I just came in. I'm a tard ol' boy.

I have a couple hours work tomorrow morning and then I'll come home and put the Micatechs on and send you some pics. Sorry to bail on you. I just got involved and couldn't stop.

Gorgeous bike. I'm a good solid 6 feet tall and my feet are just barely flat on the ground on low seat height. Very comfy. Adjustable clutch handle and brake handle. It does require premium fuel.

It's a sweet looking bike. More pics tomorrow ... I promise. Thanks for the good wishes. I'll get plates and insurance tomorrow and then I'll go terrorized women and children and small animals. All good. The dealer really came through. They're a good bunch. More tomorrow. R

It is the acorn nut on one of your pegs. One side may have it but not the other.

Okay, I'll ask about the peg feeler. Beats me. Regarding sleeping, I'm on my fifth glass of wine. I'll sleep.

It's a beautiful bike. Really nice to look at, and it sounds Awesome. REally gutsy. I'm going to enjoy riding this bike. Even the gearshift peg is adjustable. A lot of thought went into this bike I think. It is a very solid looking bike.

I need a name .... R

Rem,

I am glad that your wait is finally over! Hearing you Canuks' impressions on the S10 dulls the pain of waiting a little! ;)

ARF !!! Maybe I'll actually get to ride it a little today. I rode it into the trailer yesterday. This morning, I'll head into town, get my insurance and plate, do a couple hours work then head on back home. It didn't rain last night so the road just might be passable. In fact, it's looking like a foine, foine day this morning. The lying weather vermin are saying it might soar up to low 70's. A road free of quicksand is a happy Tenere. R

Intelligent report ????? Well, I can see a report but you're asking for a lot with intelligence thrown into the mix. My wife doesn't ride. I just hope I can get it out of here. The sun is shining this morning so the road will dry out quickly unless they start dumping water on it again.

It shore is a purty thang. Knock me down and call me Cooter if it ain't. R

Went in and paid for my new scoot - serial # 16, will pick it up tomorrow. OMG  what a beautiful big bruiser. I am a short guy and can just tip-toe with the seat in the low position. immediatly ordered the low seat and already had the 1" lowering links coming from Motorad in OZ. I'll be OK on the road, after all once moving ya don't want to drag your feet anyway. I won't venture into to rough terrain until I lower the beauty. Can't wait to start logging some seat time. Pictures will follow... 8)

Hmmmm, how does that compare with your ST1300? What position do you run it in?
