Hello all.
I currently have an 08 Suzuki Vstrom 650 and while it's a great do-it-all bike and thoroughly enjoy it, I'm in the market to A) try something different and B) I'm kinda over chain maintenance. The thought of going back to a shaft drive (previously had a Boulevard C50T and loved that shaft drive/enging) combined the upright riding position led me here.

I have been poking around since joining and lurked for about the last two weeks before registering however, there is still a lot to learn. That said, I think the best learning comes from riding and getting in tune with the bike so I am on the hunt in the next two months to sell my Vstrom and pick up a Tenere.

Enjoy the rid,

Jeff

Welcome, from Texas. There's a lot of former Strom riders here. There's a lot of many other brand riders here. The Tenere is a big bang for the buck kinda bike.

Hello from another Strommer!

I loved my DL1000 but after switching to the Super T in 2017, I have not looked back.

Thanks. This is not the first time I’ve heard this about other Strom riders.

I was in the same position as you, I recently sold my VStrom 650, which was a great bike, and bought a slightly use 2020 S10. Much better at highway/touring and that's where I spend most of my riding time. Very happy with the decision

The only time I'll see gravel is when I accidentally go off the side of the road of the, ahem, pit stop that just can't wait.
