Rumbux bar and s-plate / HB lockit Sid case mounting bars

Has anyone reused these from a 2012 S10 on a newer bike. I have been advised they are not transferable?

I am pretty confident the pre '14 HB side case carriers don't fit on the ES model due to the location of the piggy back cylinder

Not sure who advised you. The Rumbux will fit any year. The only difference between Gen I And Gen II bikes in terms of mounting points for the Rumbux is the fill panel in the nose of the Gen II needs to be trimmed or have a slot cut for the Rumbux flat bar that mounts there. The trim panel can just be left off as well.

On the HB side case mounts, they won't fit an ES, but still fit the Std model.

Just as an aside, a lot of what's listed as not fitting Gen II bikes still fits them with minor modifications or a swap of a cheap Gen I part for the Gen II part that causes issues.
