I tried doing a search but could not come up with the requested info.....

So has anyone used the "Riser Install Kit" that can be purchased from Alt Rider?

If so, does it work as advertised or did you end up putting the 2:" longer brake and clutch lines sold by "Ride On ADV"?

TIA

Looks like two tie straps and a chunk of 3/8" fuel line with a clamp. I have the fixed offset risers and didn't need to change lines or cables.

I have a 2014 S10 ES.
I installed the ADV kit and did not change the hoses when I installed my 2" Rox Risers.

However, after a few weeks of doing lock to lock low speed turn practice, I became concerned with the stress on the hoses.

I then installed the 2" + hoses and never looked back.

Note: If I recall correctly the work to install the ADV kit is not as easy as I thought and requires a mirror, flashlight and some skills. Replacing the hoses is also something of an effort and would require bleeding the total system. For me it took 90 minutes for ADV kit and 2 1/2 hours to remove the ADV kit, install the the hoses and bleed the system. I believe I posted more details some many months ago.

I wasn't particularly thrilled with altriders solution. Rideon makes the 2 inch longer hoses that can be very easily installed and gravity bled (I had hesitations because I didn't want to bleed the ABS pump), but it's not necessary. This makes the lines long enough to run risers AND higher bars if you wanted to.
