OK folks, I need some help. I have changed three of the four plugs, I have removed the fourth one, the one on right hand side, but for the love of me I just can't seem to get the new one in. It doesn't seen to be catching the thread at all or dropping in far enough.

Am I missing something here, it's driving me nuts.

One trick I always use when threading in plugs is to use a piece of vacuum or fuel hose that fits over the terminal of the plug tight enough to allow you to turn the plug with the hose, but not so tight you can't yank it off after the plug is threaded in most of the way. It really helps when fishing plugs down into these deep spark plug wells and it gives you a good feel for when the plug begins to thread correctly.

Since you got the old one out it doesn't seem like the coil could have left any bits behind to hold you up. A mechanic's mirror and a bright flashlight could be a help.
::026:: on the vac/fuel hose. I've been using the same two bits to install plugs for literally years, one is a flexible rubber tool made for the purpose, the other is more rigid, it was a small diameter metal/rubber water hose off a Passat.
And for the love of God, don't force anything.

Well that's not bad, just last week I drove 1hr to drop off my paper work for my retirement in January and guess what I got down to the union hall with no papers. Yes getting old sucks sometimes but it could be worse.

A couple of times I've rushed to get to the airport for a biz-trip, only to find that I had the wrong day.

Drove into town (Houston) yesterday to the airport that I officially work at.
Got to the gate. No card to swipe. argghhh

Drove back to the country (28 miles), fetched my ID card, returned to the office.
Was informed by HR that my card would expire that day and I must renew immediately.

I think they should force me to retire.

Einstein went to airports for business trips?

Thanks RandG for making my day. The oops I did at work now is not as bad!

Yea well I'm out mountain biking today and stop at the creek to let the dog get a drink, I'm turned around dropping some water looking at this pole thing a few feet away trying to figure out why it was there and what it was.

Darn trail cams! Got a letter from a friend not far from home. In it was a picture of me on my S10 on one of his woods roads. He just wrote on the back "GOTCHA".

I didn't pay close attention to the restroom signs at the hospital the other day and I stood outside the broom closet for 20 minutes wondering what was taking the guy in there so long. Almost stopped an employee to tell them someone had been in the restroom for a very long time and they might want to check on them.

I did something similar a couple years ago. We were at a concert in MO at a place that was a restored hotel/resort, built in the 1920's. I needed to go to the bathroom, so I walked down the hall and saw a sign that I read as saying MEN. I went in and at first thought t was odd that there were no urinals. I went into a stall and took care of #1 and then washed up and as I was walking out a woman was walking in. To save her some embarrassment I told her that this was the men's room. She pointed to the sign above her head and sure enough, it said WOMEN. I guess when I had glanced at the sign, I only saw the last 3 letters before I went in. ???
