As I am always looking for an advneture and have been lucky enough to find a few. Since getting the S10 I have a few adventures conquered and still a handful more planned. Anyway, as the title says I am going to try to ride at least a day per month and today was the November day attempt and it was ugly, - 26 celcius, beautiful blue sky, fresh snow, icy roads and off I went. ABS and TCS is awesome but the snow was deep and the black ice ruthless, I dumped the bike a couple times and am now looking for tire suggestions. Are there studded or a soft winter tire for bike out there somewhere. I dropped the tires pressure to the point I was almost on the rims and it improved some traction but obviously performance not there.
My December ride is planned around town at christmas delievering some gift to friends kids. January a ride in Dawson while on an evnet up there. February a ride to Pelly Farms on another event, March on the Dempster and hopefully Ice road to Tuk, April likely Fraser summit while on a sledding trip. Most of the rides the bike will be trucked to the location and then ridden for a while.
Okay tire guru's if you have any thoughts on this let me know.
Thanks in advance
