Hi All,

I hate posting bad news, but Tex is a rider friend of mine that hit a deer about a week ago. Unfortunately the news hasn't been getting better. He had to have his spleen removed and the docs could not control the bleeding. Apparently he was on predaxa (blood thinner).
Recently heard his kidneys are shutting down. I'm hoping to hear some good news soon, he deserves it.

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Positive Karma going his way.

Hope he turns around and can fully recover. Meanwhile, everyone else hunt more deer!

Hey Koinz, sorry to hear about him. I'm assuming he's local to us? Where did he hit the deer?

Yes, he lives near me. My understanding is that he swerved to avoid one, then hit a buck. Not sure if the first one was a buck though.

No, I'm betting it wasn't. Buck don't run together, usually.

Best of luck to him, I hope he pulls through.

Prayers going out for Tex. The deer are so thick around here the highways have one dead about every 5 miles.

Got a call tonight with an update. Unfortunately more bad news. Tex was in surgery today and they removed his colon and they said they would be doing a trachiotrmy. I'm thinking the worst but hoping for the best. :-[
