Wow. Beautiful country. When I think of Japan all that really comes to mind is overcrowded cities. I really need to go visit there someday. It looks gorgeous and it also looks like the people really cherish the heritage of their country.

Very nice blog and photos. I spent 3 years on Okinawa and loved to explore the little island. I wasn't allowed to ride while I was there, but I did get a SOFA drivers liscence and got to see much of the countryside while seeking out new dive locations. I was only on the mainland once, and that was to party in the new year in Rapunji.(sp) I really miss Japan and hope to get back there with my wife one day. Thanks for sharing.

Was there years ago on a flight connector. Did not stray at all. Very beautiful place. Would love to visit some day.
