Hey guys. I recently installed a Ricochet engine guard. Just wanted to share some pics and thoughts. I ordered it from Enduro Shack for $190 from their Ebay store. Shipping was $12. Unit is anodized black. It is a very basic design which I like. Plate has drain hole for oil changes. Welds are clean and quality is very good. It uses 4 mounting point. One on the front and three on the bottom. All bolt directly to engine using rubber bushings. Hardware is very simple and includes zinc plated bolts, washers, and mounts. No stainless steel. :'( Of course a few bucks in bolts fixes that issue. Installing plate was pretty straight forward. Instructions are non-existent (See below). Overall I like it. It keeps gravel and debris off the engine which is all I need.

I have the same plate. After my last "hero" ride on rocky terrain, It scraped a lot of rocks.
No damage to the skid plate but bent the metal brackets and part of the aluminum bottom engine cover.
I am very fortunate that the case did not crack!
I need to make some steel bars that will bolt the front of the plate up to the frame bolts.
