There are a bunch of versions in different colors on ebay too. LINKY. Note that some are one 1.0 amp port and one 2.1 amp port, others are "4.2 amp" i.e. two 2.1 amp ports. Blue, green, red colors.

Yeah I have a Dual USB 9V plug in mine right, now.. figured if it gets damaged its easy to replace. But I like the idea of the built in unit!

I have this on my Tenere. I paid $10.00 with shipping from either tmart.com or banggood.com a few months ago. I thought about posting this then, but didn't for some reason. Nice to have the voltmeter.

Will order one now, did you use the original cables or route new wiring?

I came across this today and was wondering if anyone has replaced the dash power outlet with something like this instead?

The device looks nice though it is possible to get just a plug in 12v charger/thermometer/voltmeter from Amazon for $12. Just ordered one today. Voltmeter and Temp only: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SXZDKTW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 If you need the charger too: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NBSFL41/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1, another one with celsius temp/volt/temp: https://www.amazon.com/Charger-Voltmeter-Thermometer-Charging-Smartphone/dp/B0191GAAEE/ref=pd_sim_328_1?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0191GAAEE&pd_rd_r=GCSD9404GNYHAS3ZQNSB&pd_rd_w=HBpUH&pd_rd_wg=7ng8Q&psc=1&refRID=GCSD9404GNYHAS3ZQNSB

I would also warn you about Gearbest. They are not a scam company but they do ship everything from China and about half of what they ship goes via a very slow boat (or camel train) to the USA. I am currently waiting for some camping items that I ordered March 16, where shipped March 20 and have not yet arrived. They will not refund until at least two months after the ship date so you are SOOL if you need something sooner. Amazon sells that same item too and would be a far more reliable supplier.

Sometimes it's not always that bad to order from those really slow boats, in my case I've received a number of items with a refund and STILL got the items when they didn't arrive 2 months later! In my case, I am waiting for a Super Tenere Screen protector that is supposed to come from Thailand, and it was ordered March 2nd... still hasn't arrived, wrote the seller back and he gave me a full refund... I know it will arrive for sure in the next week or 2 so ... other then waiting a few months, free items! ::013::

I notice that those dual USB aux jacks are rated at 4.2amps. I believe the factory jack is rated for only 3amps and has a 3 amp fuse. Has that caused any problems or did you just change the fuse?

Keep in mind that each USB port is 2.1 amps, so even if you have both in use, you probably won't be drawing full amperage very often. Might be a good idea to change to a 5 amp fuse though. The wiring should support that w/o issue.
