OEM panniers generally use the locks that come with the bike. Every bike comes with three locks, so the seller should keep the locks if he sells the cases separately.

Yes, luggage has the keyed locks that came with the bike. I also had 2 other keys made from blanks at a locksmith so you do not have to use the ignition key to open the boxes but instead the copy key I had made. Less chance of messing up the ignition key because I had heard they were a little bit soft.

:question: Its more like 1250 miles, last I checked. That's a nice, relaxed two day ride, perfect for a fly and ride over a weekend with a late friday fly out. Great chance to bond with the bike on the ride home too!
