Let us know how long it takes. Unless you have really small hands I think you will find it time consuming to install. Well, it took a lot longer than I thought it would.
We're having the coldest weeks in 50 years time.... will take till spring before I get a chance to wash the bike and install it....

And I have small hands, so I hope to be able to fit it in a few minutes.

Another option for fitting a rear shock sock is to remove the shock. Had mine off and its one of the easiest to remove I've had. Bike on mainstand, put some blocking under rear wheel to take the load off the linkage, remove nuts off connecting arm linkage and slide bolts out, remove upper and lower eye bolts on shock and lift out through right side between frame/subframe.
Took less than five minutes. And you get to see just how little lube Yamaha puts on the needles and pivot bushings. ::) Found it helpfull for fitting a shock cover.
Two nuts for connecting arm linkage-43 ft lbs
Lower shock eye bolt -35 ft lbs
Upper shock eye bolt -29 ft lbs

Al gore and that global warming group must have a explanation for this one too
Don't start... this winter is shaping up to be one of the warmest in the US. So what - global warming is about climate, not weather. Time people learned the difference. Ok I'll stop now ! >:D

::009:: I say that if non mineral energy is the way to go, we burn as much oil as quick as possible (ride our bikes like there is no tomorrow). The sooner we run out of oil the sooner we start using green energy... ;)
